Center for Assistance to Persons Who Have Experienced Human Rights Violations
The idea was to create a center that would select situations of strategic importance to correct systemic human rights violations. The main goal was to influence changes in legislation and improve human rights practice. The center was funded by the ABA and operated for about two years.
An expert council was created within its structure, which was to identify problems and determine priority areas of work. In parallel, a fund operated, which paid for legal assistance to victims.
