"Digital Transformation: Strengthening Anti-Corruption Benefits and Preventing Corruption Risks" and "Improving the Anti-Corruption Component of the Regulatory and Methodological Toolkit in the Provision of Public Services by Providing Expert and Advisory Support to the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption."
The NGO "Institute for Applied Humanities Research" implemented the initiatives "Digital Transformation: Strengthening Anti-Corruption Benefits and Preventing Corruption Risks" and "Improving the Anti-Corruption Component of Regulatory and Methodological Tools in the Provision of Public Services" with the support of the SACCI / Management Systems International Program in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the National Agency for the Control of Corruption.
The projects provided expert and advisory support for the processes of digitalization of public services, analyzed corruption risks, and developed recommendations to increase the transparency and integrity of e-services.
During the work, the team participated in the preparation of proposals for the draft State Anti-Corruption Program for 2023–2025. The NACP expressed official gratitude to the organization for its high professional contribution.
1. How can digital transformation reduce corruption risks in the provision of public services?
Digitalization minimizes the human factor in decision-making, makes processes transparent and automated. Thanks to electronic services and open data, the possibility of abuse is reduced, and citizens receive fast and controlled access to public services.
2. What challenges may arise when implementing anti-corruption digital solutions?
The main challenges are related to the insufficient level of digital literacy, technical limitations, resistance to change from certain institutions, and the need to ensure cybersecurity and personal data protection.
3. What were the main goals of these initiatives?
The main goal was to strengthen the anti-corruption benefits of digitalization, prevent corruption risks, and improve the regulatory and methodological framework for the provision of public services.
4. What results are expected from the implementation of digital anti-corruption solutions?
The expected results of implementing digital anti-corruption solutions are to increase the transparency of government processes, reduce corruption risks, optimize the provision of public services, and strengthen citizens' trust in government institutions.
