Strengthening the BPD system and human rights organizations in providing assistance

The Institute's experts' activities consisted of analyzing the practice of referring citizens from local government bodies to the free legal aid system (PLA), as well as conducting focus groups with the participation of LPA lawyers and representatives of public organizations in the Kharkiv region on the demand for participation in cases arising from citizens' appeals to local government bodies.

The project's goal was to strengthen the capacity of the LPA system and human rights organizations in working with cases related to citizens' appeals to local government bodies, as well as to increase the awareness and level of expertise of local government bodies regarding the possibilities and necessity of providing free secondary legal aid.
