Supervisory monitoring of the trial to assess the application of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine

The project conducted supervisory monitoring of the judicial process to assess compliance with the principle of unity of judicial practice in criminal proceedings. The main focus was on studying the application of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and analyzing practical court decisions.

Based on the collected data, an analysis of the coherence of judicial approaches was carried out and reports with recommendations were prepared to improve the unity of judicial practice. The results of the project contributed to increasing the predictability of judicial decisions and strengthening trust in the judicial system.

1. What is the main goal of the project?

The purpose of the project is to assess compliance with the principle of unity of judicial practice in criminal proceedings and the application of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

2. What was the subject of the research within the monitoring?

The subject of the study was judicial decisions and the consistency of judicial approaches in criminal proceedings.

3. What results were obtained based on monitoring?

The project was implemented by the public organization "Institute for Applied Humanitarian Research" with the support of the Democracy Fund of the US Embassy in Ukraine.

4. How do the project results affect the judicial system?

The results contribute to increasing the predictability of court decisions and strengthening trust in the judicial system.
