On August 9, 2024, with the support of the USAID Justice for All Program, the working group of the Council of Judges of Ukraine discussed the draft amendments to the Code of Judicial Ethics in order to update it in light of recent international recommendations and changes in national legislation. Legal advisors of the Program, Oleksandr Sydelnikov and Anna Sukhova, as well as expert of the NGO Institute of Applied Humanitarian Studies Yaroslav Belykh, provided recommendations regarding the proposed amendments to the Code and participated in the discussion of the proposals. The new version of the Code will be considered by the Congress of Judges of Ukraine, scheduled for September 18, 2024.
